Excellent quality bike workstand

Feedback Sports Elite Repair Stand

Feedback Sports Elite Repair Stand

I bought this bag (in black) from ebags in March 2009. At the time, I had a first generation kindle in an original cover which fit. The bag has slot pockets on both the front and back that have magnetic closures. I carry an 8.5 x 6 inch notebook in the back pocket and now leave a neoprene sleeve in the front pocket for my new K2us and it slips right in and out as I have the opportunities to read.

I keep two reusable bags for groceries in the front zipper pocket and my wallet, keys, calculator, pens, and other small items in the zippered organizer pocket behind that.

I have a fairly large (4.5 x 3 x 4) camera that I keep in the center compartment with my mp3 player, and other larger items. My cell phone is stashed in one of the end pockets while my thumb drive, hair clips, and chapstick are in the other.

The back has no pockets outside the straps which I prefer. It keeps the side carried next to the body smooth and avoids snags in clothing. The straps are a little short (arm clearance is about 9 inches) and non-adjustable which means if you put file folders in one of the slot pockets, you won't want to carry the bag on your shoulder as it would crumple the folders.

It stays upright when you set it on a table or counter.

I love the silver lining. My black items do not get lost inside the bag. It is showing some signs of wear, but I've used it every day since I received it. I plan to replace it with exactly the same bag since the 3rd generation kindle should also fit.

  1. get what you pay for. more on the expensive end but for a reason. quality parts, easy to use and well thought out. only little little little issue is the clamp seems best suited for tube shaped frames and posts. so if you have all aero everywhere it makes it a bit tough to find a mounting spot thats a perfect fit. be careful clamping carbon, if you hear a crunch you've gone to far

  2. This is exactly what I needed! It's portable, flexible, holds a great deal of weight. The footprint is about 5'. The holder rotates to about any angle and the stand folds up to about 3 feet. There's a reason Bicycle Magazine put this on the list of 10 tools you'll need to buy only once!

  4. I couldn't be more impressed with this stand. The Pro Elite is the way to go. With many repair stands increasing in price, this is well worth the money. I ordered the tool tray as well and is very solid.
Item arrived super fast with Amazon Prime and Next Day option for $3.99. Product quality is great and you won't be disappointed with the quick open and close feature. If you are looking for a great stand, look no further.

  5. This stand has been a teriffic addition to my garage. It is very well made, and the fit and finish of all parts is excellent. The locking mechanisms all were spot on out of the box, and it has held every bike I have put on it without flexing or sagging. I think the heaviest was around 30 pounds. The quick close clamp makes attaching a bicycle very simple, and it is also easy to open. It does indeed have a rather wide footprint, but that also makes it rock solid stable so I will take that trade. The included bag with strap is a nice bonus for those who like to throw it in the car. I really like the red anodized finish too.

  7. PRO: Quality construction and material. The ratchet mechanism used for the bike clamp make for easy on and off of your bike. Heavy duty quick releases used for height and angle adjustment make for easy set up to any bike. The optional tool tray can be positioned to be within easy reach yet still be able to turn the crank.

    CONS: Not Cheap

SUMMARY: You get what you pay for. Adjustability, durability, and portability are hard to come by in one product. Stand can keep the front wheels of a 46# DH bike from touching the ground when I'm working on the rear end at standing height. Anodized red finish is standout in my work area.
